Music Ministry

The mission of the music ministry of First Baptist Church of Columbia is three-fold. 

First, we must worship our Lord and Savior in Spirit and truth, giving all glory to Him. 

Second, we must train our children and youth both musically and spiritually to equip them to do the same.  We will accomplish this only as all the leaders of this ministry stay in daily communion with the Lord in prayer and Bible study.  The Psalmist asked the question, “Who can have fellowship with the Lord?”  The answer is “he who has clean hands and a pure heart.”   Ps 34:3-4.

Finally, we will strive to have clean hands and a pure heart and worship the Lord in such a way that others will see our joy and come to know Him as Savior and Lord.
